Kindness is in how we treat the store clerk or the check out person at the grocery store who may be feeling tired and irritable. It’s making a conscious decision to find ways to bless someone each and everyday through a kind work or deed. Kindness is indeed a gift from God.

Self-control. Lord, help me with this one and my love for chocolate! I think our mind plays tricks on us and we only think we can’t do without something. But, we do have the power all along. We are stronger than we give ourselves credit for. And that strength comes from God who gives us this precious gift of self control.
